Bicarbonatul de sodiu este alt ingrediente la indemana care e util in indepartarea mucegaiului. Se poate folosi diluat in apa simpla sau intr-o apa cu otet; se pulverizeaza pe zona-problema, se lasa cateva ore si apoi se sterge cu o carpa umeda. Bicarbonatul de sodiu este un dezinfectant natural si foarte bland, asa ca nu va lasa nici un miros.
